Nicholas Castellanos is 6-10 vs LHP over the last two weeks.  For the season he is batting .467 with an OBP of .500 against southpaws.

Miguel Cabrera has an OBP of .571 over his last 28 PA which is third best in the major leagues.

Matt Boyd is holding LHB to an .056 average this season (1-18).

Nicholas Castellanos and Miguel Cabrera both have a line drive rate of 27.9%,  which is fourth highest in major league baseball

Leonys Martin is hitting just about everything on a line or in the air this year.  His ground ball rate of just 21% is the lowest in baseball

Jeimer Candelario has seen 377 pitches so far this year, 54 more pitches than the next closest Tiger, Nicholas Castellanos.  Candelario sees an average of 4.05 pitches  per PA.

Jose Iglesias has not drawn a walk in his last 42 PA

Joe Jimenez has pitched 10 straight innings without allowing an earned run.  In addition, he has not allowed an extra base hit in his last 12 innings.

Opponents are hitting .409 against Buck Farmer’s fastball this season

Miguel Cabrera is crushing fastballs this year.  He is hitting .480 against heaters this season, tied for the best in major league baseball among hitters with at least 30 plate appearances this year.

Daniel Stumpf has relied on his slider quite a bit against 3-4-5 hitters over the last two weeks.  He has thrown that pitch 65% of the time against the middle of the order, highest among qualified relief pitchers in major league baseball.
